How I Became a Phillies Caricaturist
This opportunity presented itself when I met caricature artist Emily Anthony at a New Jersey Bat Mitzvah job. Between sketches, she told me that Caricature Artist Bruce Blitz (pictured above) was looking for more experienced artists to draw at Philadelphia Phillies games. I was sold as as soon as she mentioned Bruce.
Caricatures at Citizen's Bank Park
Although I grew up a musician / artist with no interest in sports, it’s still really, really cool to draw caricatures at Citizen’s Bank Park during Phillies games. Especially during the years I worked there (2007–2012) where every game was sold out and fans were in awe of the Jimmy Rollins, Shane Victorino and Chase Utley triple threat.

This gift caricature commission for a girl who’s fanatical over the Phillies—especially Shane Victorino, Chase Utley and Cliff Lee—was the perfect opportunity to expand on my Phillies caricature arsenal and sketch the most recognizable of all Philadelphia baseball stars.
